The Book Club is a fun group of members who meet once a month to discuss books from a diverse mix of genres, ranging from current or classic fiction to historical books, mysteries, memoirs, biographies and many more. Books are nominated by the members and chosen with their votes.
Members are encouraged to read the books and participate in discussions which are enhanced by the diverse backgrounds and life experiences of our members. Every monthly discussion is led by a different volunteer from the group. Usually, individuals who have previously read and loved a particular book volunteer to lead the discussion. Book Club typically meets the fourth Monday of the month, except for November, December and July. Details are in the monthly club newsletter. If you are interested in participating in the Book Club, please contact us on the Contact page of this website. Per person, we will pay $25.00, which includes a choice of two salads (Mimi's Mediterranean Salad or Caesar Salad) with a choice of two proteins (salmon or chicken). Everyone will receive fresh baked bread with garlic/olive oil and water. The $25.00 includes iced tea and coffee. (Tax and tip are included in the $25.00.) Book Club Schedule for 2022-2023
