Our HistoryThe Hill Country Newcomers Club was started in 1976 by two women living in a local hotel. While awaiting construction of their new homes, Pat Allen and Peggy Basham placed an article in the local newspaper, The Boerne Star. They invited interested women to meet with them in a business in the Live Oak Shopping Center.
Thirty excited women attended, and the club was off and growing. |
The HCNC would like to officially welcome you to the neighborhood!Whether you've just arrived in the Hill Country or lived here for years, HCNC offers an instant social calendar, filled with opportunities to enjoy and explore this area. With over 200 members and a variety of interest groups, we are a great way for you to find friends and activities here. But you don't have to be a newcomer to join the fun.
